Kate Beckinsale changed into a flirty bikini as she spent the day on the beach with her 11-year-old daughter, Lily Sheen.

The Hollywood celebrity flaunted her slim, sexy body as she and her daughter hung out on the beach in Mexico, building sand castles and lounged on deck chairs, along with husband Len Wiseman.

Kate has maintained her figure and looks so well, she could pass off as an older sister to her daughter. The frilly bikini could have come from her daughter's wardrobe too.

Is it any surprise why Kate Beckinsale was voted third hottest mother in Hollywood in a recent AskMen.com poll, behind Halle Berry and Monica Belluci?

The sexy mom is set to return as vampire Selene in Underworld Four (directed by Wiseman) which is set for release in January 2012. Kate has also signed up to star as the lead in The Trials of Cate McCullough, alongside fellow Brit Sienna Miller.
