Sexy mom Demi Moore unleashes the power of Twitter to beat Kevin Bacon in the Pepsi Refresh Celebrity Challenge and win a $250,000 grant for Demi’s selected cause, GEMS Girls Educational & Mentoring Services.
GEMS is a non-profit organization designed to empower American girls and young women, ages 12-21 who have experienced sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking.
Demi Moore said: "The Pepsi Refresh Grant will allow GEMS to train 10 former victims as outreach workers and employ them to go back to their community and refresh the lives of thousands of victimized girls."
The sexy mom is a longtime anti-human-trafficking advocate. Along with husband, Ashton Kutcher, she even formed her own nonprofit, The DNA Foundation, to expose sex slavery and protect the freedom of vulnerable citizens.
It is great to see Hollywood celebrities doing good, instead of being self-obsessed airheads... visiting beauty salons, donning latest fashion accessories and strutting down red carpets.
Pepsi deserves a thumbs up too for sponsoring charity organisations and recognizing celebrities for their work.
