Britney Spears' boyfriend Jason Trawick has met with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, to seek his blessings to marry her.

A source said: "Jason not only professed his love for Britney, he told Kevin he absolutely adores his two sons. Jason acknowledged that Kevin will always be the boys' real dad, but respectfully asked his blessing as a future co-parent.

The source added: "Kevin couldn't be happier, he trusts Jason. The guys agreed to be in close touch - and Britney's thrilled knowing she's now one step closer to her goal of marrying Jason and living happily ever after."

Well, I have creeping doubts about living happily ever after. In January 2004, Britney Spears married her childhood friend, Jason Alexander, only to have the union annulled 55 hours later.

Then in September that year, the sexy celebrity married Kevin Federline. They have two sons (Sean Preston and Jayden James) within two years but the marriage fell apart.

I still remember the low point of Britney Spears' career after her divorce. She drank, took drugs, checked in and out of rehab, attacked paparazzis, sheared off her hair, and lost custody of her children.

Fortunately, Britney Spears' father took control of her life and nurse her back to health, physically and emotionally.

Since then, the sexy mom has rejuvenated her career, selling millions of album, got back on the Forbes list of most powerful celebrities, and won joint custody of her children.

If Jason Trawick is Mr Right, all is well. If not, I really hate Britney Spearks going through the anguish of divorce again. What do you guys think of her impending marriage?
